Our recreational gymnastics classes are fully structured and lead by a British Gymnastics qualified coach, in accordance with our TEAM CRAVEN values. These sessions are aimed at school-age children wanting to learn a variety of gymnastics skills in a fun and friendly environment. Gymnasts will progress through our gymnastics award system working across all apparatus in the gym. Pre-booking is essential as places are limited to ensure class quality. For classes that are full please join the waiting list and we will contact you once a place becomes available.
Classes are 50 minutes long and cost £7.50 per child per class paid monthly.
We also offer two week trial sessions which can be booked via the links below. If you wish to continue after your trial we will require full sign up within one week to maintain your place.

Please note, as a British Gymnastics registered Club, members of Craven Gymnastics Club are also required to be members of British Gymnastics for insurance purposes, this is a one off annual fee. Please visit the British Gymnastics website for more information regarding membership.
Beginner classes
Our Beginner Gymnastics classes are for children who are brand new to gymnastics or who are learning the basic fundamental gymnastics skills. Gymnasts work on all apparatus at the club. All Beginner Gymnastics sessions are 50 minutes per week.
Intermediate classes
Our Intermediate Gymnastics classes are for children who already have some basic fundamental skills and are working towards more difficult skills across all pieces of apparatus. At Craven Gymnastics Club all gymnasts have the opportunity to progress to intermediate levels but must have been selected by their coach from a beginner class.
Important to note:
By accepting a place at the Club you recognise that we are now part of the Sandylands Sports village, allowing us to have our own purpose built gymnastics facility with attached public café and viewing gallery. Photography and videoing from the gallery windows is strictly forbidden. Blinds will be installed in the near future and will be closed should these safeguarding rules not be respected.
